Headshot Session: Kevin Archambault

It was a sunny, unusually warm February day when I pulled up to the Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center where I was going to do a head shot/portrait session with choreographer/director/actor Kevin Archambault. Kevin has taken part in productions all over the United States of America. He currently resides/works in Upstate NY, where he works at the Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center as their official public relations coordinator and stars in/directs/choreographs a number of shows throughout the year, both there and in many other places. I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin when I did stage crew for the Center's December 2012 production of Irving Berlin's White Christmas, in which he played lead character Phil Davis (Danny Kaye's role, for all you fans of the movie).

For somebody who told me they hadn't had head shots or portraits done in a number of years, Kevin took to it like a duck to water. With an infectious smile and a great "photographic presence," he was a fantastic friend and client to work with, and by the end of the session we both had some fantastic images to add to our portfolios.

There are few more caring, genuine, or enthusiastic individuals you could ask for to start off your career photographing. Thank you to Kevin for being such a great client and the Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center for allowing us to use one of their gorgeous studios!
